Pasta Fresca, an Italian restaurant in Ursynów, offers a special menu inspired by Christmas, which will allow you to get acquainted with dishes that Italians from different regions of their country eat during the Holiday season.
Throughout December, you can spot such dishes as part of daily specials prepared by chef Nello Esposito coming from Naples. You will be able to find there e.g. crema di barbabietole rosse al forno (warming red beet cream), brodo con scampi (light soup with prawns) or anquilla in humido (steamed eel). Region of Naples will be represented by tortellini in brodo di carne (broth with home-made ravioli with meat) and calamarata con pesce spada (pasta with tomato sauce and swordfish). Flavors from the Tuscan are to be find in crostini bianchi e neri (black and white toasts with chicken, truffle cream and chicken liver pate with cognac) and ravioli con funghi porcini (home-made ravioli stuffed with dried boletus). The appetitizer affettati misti con insalata russa (Parma ham, salami, mozzarella, grana padano, parmesan, pecorino, gorgonzola and vegetable salad) is coming from the mountainous Piedmont. The Pasta Fresca restaurant could not miss Italian desserts. You will be able to taste Neapolitan torta caprese (cake with chocolate and almonds, without flour) or migliaccio napoletano (semolina and ricotta carnival cake in a syrup of caramelized orange and cognac) and Milanese panettone (sweet bread loaf with raisins and orange peel).
