LATEST OPENINGS: M2Caffe is a new place for breakfast, snacks and coffee in Powisle. At the corner of Wilcza and Emilii Platter there is a new Turkish restaurant Sofra Cafe & Restaurant. Bialy Kamien is developing in terms of culinary places. There is a new organic shop and bistro Organic Food Store & Corner and a new burger bar Burgerator.
EVERGREEN: Last week we enlarged the group of known and liked places. Two places in Mokotow were added as Evergreens: Magiel Cafe and everlasting Blue Cactus.
OPENING SOON: A new vegetarian place in Powisle will open soon. The place is called Veg Bistro and you can already order take away lunches.
TRENDY PLACES: Last week in this category we added a very popular Latawiec, small cafe on Armii Ludowej Street, where you can eat breakfasts, snacks and sometimes brunches.
EVENTS: It was another intensive week. During the week we invited you for the first of series of meetings Travelling through Asia at Wars&Sawa. On Saturday Asian stories, picures and delicacies were offered there. We also announced yearly Halloween Pumpkin Curving for children and parents at Delikatesy Esencja.
ON BLOGS: Last week Restaurantica.pl experienced the maximum number of Facebook Shares of the infographic and a text about burgers. She praised Makroklimat highly in the Baby Menu category. Also she was lost in the area of the Tax Office in Mokotów, where she found a new place Luna Bistro Cafe Bar.
Fro envied everyone who has already written about Brasserie Warszawska and published her thoughts on this topic at Froblog. This made her so proud, that she was lazy and stayed silent till the end of the week.
Nakarmiona Starecka gained back her blog and her good mood. On Tuesday, after having lunch a Socjal for 19PLN, she announced prosperity of this place to the whole world. Unfortunately her good mood went away on Sunday, when she published another episode of Warsaw Gastronomy Nightmares. The leading roles were acted by: Kosher Falafel, Przegryź and Charlotte.
Where’s The Food last week – as he pointed himself – „created entries” on events rather than on restaurants. He was supposed to „create entry” on Atelier Amaro, but finally took care of Food Film Fest. Both WarsawFoodies were seriously concerned, that they have always been writing, and never have “created entries” before.
TasteSpotting made a list of places which serve Belgian fries. She also went to Aroma, where she had a salad. She discovered that vegetables „tasted like cut vegetables”, and a chili dressing tasted „like dishwashing detergent with something spicy”. Both Warsaw Foodies feel guilty, that they have never tasted dishwashing detergent.
