Foodtruck, parrotfish and bryndza – re-opening of flagship MAKRO store

The flagship MAKRO store on Aleje Jerozolimskie re-opened on 22nd November. After the renovation the store got new layout, enriched product range adapted to the changing needs of the catering and trade industry, as well as special demonstration kitchens. The departments of fruit & vegetables, meat, dairy products and fish became significantly larger. More than 2,000 new products appeared in the store. They include both products from different parts of the world as well as Polish local and regional products. Among the new products available in MAKRO store you find, among others, Italian cheese Asiago, parrotfish, John Dory fish, tuna fillet or Iberico pork cheeks. Local products are represented, among others, by grójeckie apples (PGI), bryndza sheep cheese, lactose-free sour cream and guineafowl meat. We could try some of products from the new offer during a special press breakfast being mix of street food with fine dining by Martin Gimenez Castro and Bazar Kocha restaurant.

Additionally within the MAKRO store the modern kitchen studio, as well as the food truck with show kitchen, were created. Professional chefs will lead there cooking demonstrations, shows and tastings. Customers may also use the coffee corner.
