Latawiec

Joanna Mróz 25 October 2012

Latawiec is a bar, club and café in the city center. The place is open from early morning to late evening. During the day, you can eat here breakfasts and light snacks, in the evening you can take part in cultural events – concerts, exhibitions. Latawiec is also known for its weekend brunches. In summer you can see hammock chairs and tables in front of the entrance. Latawiec took its name after the “Latawiec” housing blocks area built in the mid 50’s in close neighborhood of the bar.

    Latawiec..

.. is a bar.. where I work/worked many hours.. sitting with my laptop or a book during daytime.. after dark it turns into a evening bar.. totally crowded with all kinda people.. students up to friends in their 30-tis or older..

Every Sunday they have a Brunch going on.. which I [I lead a Brunch-group for Expats in Warsaw] use to have ‘my group of expats’ around.. having warm & cold dishes.. with a homemade soup.. meat, vegetarian and all kinda home-backed sweet rolls & pies. Coffee’s are wonderful too: every day until noon, you have ‘m for 5 or 6 PLN per cup!
The venue has a basement too [approx. 12p] and 2 [!] toilets 😉 it could contain up to 50 people totally.. 🙂

The owner, Krystian, is a real Good Guy.. as well his ‘manager’ and their employees…

Ls. I, always, after arriving by plane to Warsaw, have a visit at Latawiec for a café latte/big white.. to arrive myself in Warszawa! 🙂 #LoveIt!
