El Barrio is a Mexican restaurant that opened in May in Długa street in the New Town. Restaurant’s chef is Mexican Angel Aceves Vivanco, who had worked for several years as the chef in well known El Popo restaurant. El Barrio’s menu features, among others, tacos dorados (wrapped tortillas with potato puree and vegetables), flautas de pollo (wrapped tortillas with chicken), quesadillas with meat or vegetables, empanadas de queso (Mexican dumplings stuffed with cheese and corn), fried shrimps, chicken and beef fajitas, chicken or spicy pork burritos. Lunches are served until 4 pm.
