New Italian-style café Porta 13 was opened three weeks ago at 13 E. Plater St., door to door with Peko Peko. Porta 13 has a dozen or so places inside and a small city garden. The place has an Italian owner and offers Italian coffees, pastries and snacks. You will start the your day here with Italian coffee – among others espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, shakerato, also available to take-out. At lunchtime you will eat here small snacks, e.g. focaccia with Parma ham or vegetarian with vegetables. Pastries and sweets are available throughout the day – including chocolate cake, croissants, Italian torta della nonna, there are also forest fruits with mascarpone. In the evenings (from 6pm) Porta 13 serves cocktails and Italian wines.
