Warsaw Perk

Zbigniew Glinka 8 August 2016

Warsaw Perk is a new cafe in Muranow located almost opposite to Państwo Miasto. Its name and décor are inspired by the once popular TV series Friends. Inside you can sit on the large orange sofa (similar to the one from Central Perk) under the neon sign with the silhouette of the Palace of Culture inserted in a cup of coffee. The cafe looks small at first glance, but there are also rooms at the back and on the first floor. At the moment the menu is limited to cakes eg. yeast-cake, sweet tarts (e.g. with “kajmak” which is Polish version of dulce de leche), cheesecake. Soon savory tarts will also appear. Coffee is also available with milk plant – soy and almond. This is the second Warsaw cafe, referring to the TV series “Friends” – the first, a much smaller How U Doin’ opened on the back of the Junior Department Store.
