Lokal Dela Krem is a vegan pastry shop that opened in April in small premises in Hoża street previously housing Spumoni ice cream parlor. You can eat there the vegan cakes on the spot or buy a variety of vegan pastries to take away. There have not only vegan but also several gluten free desserts (eg. chocolate mousse, chia dessert, mango lassi cake, or tofurnik – tofu cheesecake). A fructose or xylitol are used instead of sugar in the preparation of several pastries sold there. While drinking coffee (obviously with plant milk) you can order e.g. rum muffins with lime-coconut-almond cream (inspired by mojito), bajaderka – with chocolate, raisins and rum, schwarzwald chocolate muffins with cherry and whipped cream, chocolate mousse with fruits and coffee cream with Kahlua liqueur. Vegan ice cream will soon be on sale.
In the next building there is also vegan burger bar Krowarzywa and within a few minutes’ walk you can reach older cousin of the pastry shop – Lokal Vegan Bistro, also run by the Social Cooperative Margines.
