On Restaurant Day everyone can be a chef opening his own restaurant cafe or bar for a day. Anyone alone or with friends or family can set up one day restaurant anywhere. It can be at home, office, park, beach, garden… Everywhere. This food festival is taking place on different continents several times a year, recently also appeared in Poland. Next Restaurant Day is on Sunday 19 August. On the Polish map you will find this time 16 restaurants, including two in the Warsaw area.
1.Garage no. 108
In unused Garage no. 108 in Milanowek, near Warsaw Maciej Raczko will be cooking together with his daughters and friends. In a nicely decorated garage and backyard attached to it you can try burgers, sandwiches from homemade bread, salads and many more. There will be plenty of dessers and cakes to choose from and a special menu for children.

Prices: Prices of most dishes: od 5-15 zł. 3 dishes (steak, shrimps) at higher prices of 25-35 zł available in limited hours)

2. West of Eden
“West of Eden” is a one day restaurant set up by Marysia and Bronka who invite us for oriental brunch to the backyard in Mokotow district. The menu will include hummus, tabouleh, shakshouka and many other dishes mainly from Middle East region. In the meantime you can play frisbee, badminton, scrabble and other games.
