Zbigniew Glinka 7 April 2016

Greek cuisine is not only horiatiki salad with feta cheese, olives, octopus and other seafood. It’s also a lot of original and creative dishes with beef, pork, lamb and goat meat. Throughout whole April and May long weekend Greek restaurant Taverna Patris invites you to the festival of meat dishes Meat The Greek.

During the festival you will be able to try lesser known and rarely served in Poland Greek dishes such as, among others, goat roasted in a sauce of lemon with fresh oregano (56 PLN), traditional stifado – meat in tomato-cinnamon sauce with shallots (32 zł), aromatic kleftiko – meat baked in parchment (39 zł), bifteki scharas – grilled ground beef with feta cheese (34 zł) or hirino gemisto – pork tenderloin stuffed with halloumi cheese and sun-dried tomatoes (36 zł).
