5 best for Italian home-made pasta

Everyone, or almost everyone likes good Italian pasta. But where to find the best one? It would be the best if it was homemade. We do have some special recommendations for you today.

5 BEST FOR ITALIAN HAND-MADE PASTA 

1. Mamma Marietta – ul. Wołoska 74a – You can always count on Mamma when it’s about true Italian cuisine. Andrea Scarantino and his team prepare the pasta according to original Marietta’s procedures. The menu features, among others, ravioli stuffed with duck on clarified butter or cannelloni with lamb ragu.

2. Dziurka od klucza – ul. Radna 13 –  If hand-made pasta is hanging there and all the guests can see it, and in addition to pasta you can also have black pasta, it could mean only one place in Powiśle. The menu features, among others, pappardele with rabbit, gorgonzola cheese and white chocolate; or maczaron (black pasta) with shrimps, walnut pesto and cherry tomatoes

3. Mąka i Woda – ul. Chmielna 13a – probably most of you associated this place with pizza, but they also have a hand-made pasta every day. At the menu, among others, you’ll find tajarin with zucchini, zucchini flowers and home ricotta; or gnocchetti sardi – with wild boar, Sicilian tomatoes, chocolate, cherry and saffron

4. Pook Pasta – Al. KEN 21 – home-made pasta is not only to be found in the City Centre or in Mokotów. For almost three years Pook Pasta is doing well in Ursynow. At the menu you’ll find, among others, maccheroni with radicchio di Treviso, gorgonzola cheese and bechamel sauce; or gnocchi with goat ragu. [update: Pook Pasta closed in the end of August 2016]

5. Cucina Popolareul. Piękna 56 (between Poznańska and Koszykowa) – They not only make home-made here, but they make it in the eyes of the guests! Maestro Daniele Zucaro prepares pasta in the restaurant. The menu features, among others, Spaghetti alla chitarra with Parma ham and tomatoes; or Ink tagliolini with shrimps and green asparagus.
