Indonesian restaurant Warung Jakarta opened at the beginning of October on Piękna street. It took over part of the premises on the first floor after Totomato that closed a few months ago. The menu and decor refers to the Indonesian street food. You order your dish by selecting a main course e.g. Sate Udang (shrimp skewers), Rendang (spicy beef with Indonesian herbs sauce), Sate Ayam (chicken skewers with citrus flavor), Tahu Tempeh Bacame (marinated tofu & tempeh chops) and then the type of rice, additional vegetables ( eg. kangkung – water spinach with garlic or toge – mung bean sprouts) and other add-ons (eg. Telor Balado – boiled egg marinated in chili).
