Mao Restaurant & Cocktailbar, new Chinese restaurant opened on Saturday in Marszałkowska. This is a restaurant serving modern Chinese cuisine, where all the dishes are prepared without MSG. Its owners are not gastronomic beginners, they own Secado, Słoik, Ristorante Si or Gościniec Oycowizna. The owner of Mao is a Chinese, Jurek Dong, who has lived in Poland for the last 20 years. The menu of the restaurant is splitted into 5 price categories, for all the starters you will pay 10 zł, dumplings 22 zł, soups 25 zł and main dishes 34 zł. The menu of the restaurant features among others duck soup, beef soup, wontongs in broth, Peking duck or Sichuan beef. The dishes are accompanied by signature cocktails inspired by the Chinese zodiac calendar.
