Caracas Latin Flavours is a new bar in Ursynów specializing in Venezuelan sandwiches – arepas. Arepas is a kind of bun prepared from a special white corn flour (harina de maiz) formed into a round cake, which is grilled and filled with different extras. Arepas is an offer for people with gluten intolerance or those who limit it. Caracas Latin Flavours is run by a couple who met during the Latin dance – Polish girl Kasia and Venezuelan Juan Carlos born in Caracas. We can eat here arepas with various extras such as pulled beef, chicken, grilled beef, Venezuelan chicken and avocado salad, Guasacaca sauce or fried egg. There is also a vegan option with grilled vegetables, chickpeas, black beans, grilled platan and coriander. The restaurant is planning to expand the menu introducing other dishes from South America such as yuka fritters or desserts such as tres leches and quesillo.
