Croccante is a new café and pastry shop. The place was opened on Monday at Plac Trzech Krzyży (corner of Żurawia St.). The main specialty of Croccante is cronut. The hybrid of croissant (from which it draws its texture) and the donut (from which it draws its shape) created by Dominique Ansel was an inspiration of its own recipe of cronut at Croccante. The menu here features breakfast croissants with various toppings (including mascarpone and banana, with salmon and egg poche, with egg and avocado), as well as seven versions of cronuts (including one with cheesecake cream, strawberry sauce and white chocolate; with vanilla cream, caramel apple and vanilla ice cream; with chocolate cream, chocolate glaze and chocolate ice cream; with mango-passion fruit creme, mango glaze and malibu with coconut milk).
