Fort 8, announced by us already in January, was opened in mid-September. It is meant to be a meeting place for the inhabitants of Ursynów, Mokotów and Wilanów, housing many restaurants, shops and workshops. Fort 8 was built in the historic 19th century barracks of Fort VIII Służew. Many places are still pending to be opened, but there are plenty already opened. Among others Fort Whiskey Shop & Bar – with a wide selection of whiskeys to drink on site and buy, Wine Corner – the third store of this brand in Warsaw offering wine, Fort Bistro – a bistro serving breakfast and more, BEEFshop & GRILL – where you will eat beef on site and buy it to take away, as well as DESEO – well-known to all Warsaw residents place for desserts and ice cream.
