Spiżarnia Smaków is a new restaurant on Wspólna street specializing in Polish cuisine. This is the second restaurant under the same name, the first opened in June in Ochota near Szczęśliwicki Park. The menu of Spiżarnia Smaków features, among others, tartare with quail egg and pickles, rabbit legg with stewed leek, game dumplings, or sturgeon on saffron risotto. The owners did not forget about vegans and vegetarians and prepared a special menu for them. Also people on gluten-free diet may choose something for them. On weekdays between noon and 4 pm there serve daily changed lunch sets.
On selected weekends Spiżarnia Smaków organizes culinary mini-festivals dedicated to various products such eg. as shrimps, mushrooms, pasta, mussels … On 3rd & 4th December took place Beef QMP Festival*, during which guests could taste the ribs prepared in four ways – Jamaican, French, Asian and Polish.
On 10th & 11th December between 12:00 and 20:00 there will be Festival of Roasted QMP Beef*. The special menu will include Pavlova roasted beef with mashed potatoes and caramelized beets, roasted “Huzarska” beef with buckwheat and vegetables and rumpsteak with bun and crispy vegetables. During the Festival you can taste all roasted meat for free (phone reservation is required).
