Warszawski Sen by Mateusz Gessler was opened yesterday. This is the second (after Ćma) restaurant by Mateusz Gessler in Hala Koszyki. The place is meant to be a bit more elegant restaurant than Ćma. The cuisine according to the owners is both signature and Poland. There are two chefs here – Mateusz Gessler and Robert Kondziela. The menu features appetizers (such as herring macerated in linseed oil, veal kidney stewed in madeira with thyme), soups (such as crayfish cream, tail soup with dumplings), meat, fish and vegetarian main courses (such as duck from Ostrow Wielkopolski roasted a la doctor, eel in muslin sauce, roast beef of heifer from Pniewy in madeira sauce, risotto with young vegetables).
