At August 8, Soba – a new Japanese place for the owners of Arigator Ramen Shop, La Sirena and Dziurka od Klucza – had its opening in Powiśle. Soba is located on Radna Street, in the same place where Dziurka od klucza was previously operating before they moved to Mokotów. The restaurant specializes in dishes with buckwheat noodles (the title soba). The menuincludes, among others noodles served cold with sauce served separately with additions to choose from (vegetables in tempura, pickled vegetables, duck, shrimp) or pasta served warm in broth with meatballs, duck breast and yuzu, with mushrooms, duck breast and shiso or in vege curry version with oyster mushroom, eggplant and sugar snap peas. In addition, we can order starters (buckwheat cake with duck, grilled miso mackerel, grilled miso eggplant) and dessert (buckwheat cream with white chocolate and buckwheat popcorn).
