Some say that fresh seafood you can only find in Warsaw on Thursdays. Others mention that this is just a marketing idea developed by restaurants to start the weekend a day earlier. Today, we invite you to read our suggestions for five places serving the best seafood. As it turns out, each of the places has different country origin, all of them however have something in common – good offer of seafood delicacies.

 

5 BEST FOR SEAFOOD

Mamma Marietta – a small, but famous, Italian eatery on Wołoska Street. Andrea Scarantino, Mamma Marietta’s Chef and Owner, serves what happens to be fresh. Sometimes you can taste here phenomenal size of grilled octopus and other sea treasures.

Papalina – casual place with Balkan cuisine in Ursynów. It offers an interesting selection of seafood with classic Balkan additions. You’ll have here, among others, Istrian soup with seafood, grilled octopus and seafood risotto.

L’ARC – French restaurant on Puławska street is one of the very few places in Warsaw with its own lobster aquarium. Lobster and oysters in several sizes are placed there. L’ARC has seafood in the menu. In addition, however, the place holds regular Seafood “all you can eat” buffet. At the price of 99PLN per person you can enjoy them every first and third Saturday of the month.

Superiore – a new wine bar and restaurant on Piękna street treats seafood with the utmost care. Every week, the place organizes Fish Fridays, during which there are several, sometimes rare seafood such as razor clams or Argentine Red Shrimps.

ESPAÑA – Spanish Restaurant with Spanish chef. It has a Spanish attitude and the seafood here is of the highest quality. The menu changes often and is written with chalk on a blackboard, but in most cases you can find here a lobster, shrimps and A la Feira Octopus.
