Varso Vie restaurant opened in February at the Plac Konstytucji, next to the Gallery Desa in the same premises where Pierogeria used to be. This is not an ordinary restaurant, but a place where, apart from dining experience, you will be able also to taste the culture – art exhibitions, galleries, and live music concerts. Now you can enjoy there (and buy) the works of Igor Morski, one of the most respected Polish illustrators.
The restaurant’s menu features classic Polish dishes with a modern twist. In the menu you’ll find, so rare in Warsaw restaurants: sturgeon, lamb, Silverside, goose and rabbit. More typical Polish dishes are tripe Varsovie with meatballs and parmesan cheese or pork chops on the bone served with traditional “ciapkapustą”. In the premises there is also cocktail bar fitting the concept based on fresh, Polish products using traditional recipes and spirits. The examples of cocktails can be łaciaty_bizon (bourbon / cocao liqueur / krowki / albumen), burak w stolycy (porto / balsamic / beet / lemon) or cuba mdm (old_rum / walnut_vodka / hot_chocolate). You can drink there coffee prepared from freshly roasted coffee beans from Polish roaster. On weekdays between 12 pm and 4 pm lunch offer is available at a price of 25 PLN (two courses + dessert + 1l bottle of water).
