New Georgian restraurant Rusiko opened in early March in Aleje Ujazdowskie. The chef and restaurant owner, David Turkestanishvili, is a Georgian associated for years with culinary Warsaw. He used to be for instance a chef in a Georgian restaurant Gemo operating in Praga Południe. In Rusiko among available starters you can taste e.g. khachapuri or kubdari traditional Georgian breads or eggplant with walnuts, coriander and pomegranate. Among the main courses we find for example ajapsandali (stewed vegetables baked with sheep milk cheese), khinkali dumplings, batkani (saddle of lamb) or pelmeni dumplings (derived from the Russian cuisine).
