A new restaurant with Polish cuisine started close to Wiatraczna roundabout at Grochow. Helianthus was established at Galeria Grochow shopping center. The place describes its cuisine as “nostalgic, respecting the tradition but not quoting it literally”. The menu features both classics of Polish cuisine like pea soup, pierogi with cottage cheese, as well as more creative propositions like bacon braised in cider served with sour apples mousse; crayfish bisque; or perch with crayfish and mushrooms stew. Helianthus serves daily (Monday – Friday) lunches between 12: 00-16: 00. On Sunday you can have here your late breakfast until 1pm.
