Kresowe Smaki Valentyny is a small place, which recently opened on Sienna street, between Miedziana and Żelazna streets. Few bar stools fit in a limited area, but on the mezzanine they were able to place a few small tables with chairs. The restaurant speciality is Ukrainian cuisine from the Ternopil region, the ladies who cook here originate also from that region. Menu written on the blackboard is short and you can there dumplings with meat, cabbage or “ruskie” (with potatoes and white cheese), gołąbki (cabbage stuffed with meat), stuffed peppers, kapuścianki (meat layered with cabbage). Every day they have different soup (e.g. Ukrainian borscht, solyanka, broth with pielmieni, soup with frikadeller) and main courses (eg. Kruchenyky chicken, kotleta po-kyivsky, pork loin stuffed a la Odessa, chicken shashlik Ukrainian style).
