Wegemama vegan restaurant opened in late February in Marszalkowska street almost opposite to vegan burger bar Krowarzywa. The owner of the restaurant is Michał Kiciński, one of the founders of CD Projekt company (known of eg. The Witcher video game), and chefs are Piotr Ważyński and Grzegorz Dereń specializing in vegan cuisine (previously they worked e.g. at VEGE Miasto). In Wegemama you can eat vegan dishes from different parts of the world such as the Malaysian laksa, curry kroeung (ie traditional Khmer dish) or the American apple pie. At the restaurant operates a mini shop where you can buy the ingredients used here for cooking. The lighting in the premises is 100% powered by solar panels that are installed in the sign on the wall of the building.
