Announced by us last September, long awaited Genesis was opened a few days ago at European Square in the direct neighborhood of the Stixx Bar & Grill. The place is a restaurant and cocktail bar, on Fridays and Saturdays it’s opened until 1:30 am at night. Co-owner of Genesis is Krzysztof Janiszewski, a Warsaw restaurateur (Senses*, Plato, Złoto Hiszpanii) and Artur Grajber is here the Chef (formerly Hotel Sheraton). The cuisine was created according to the principle of “responsible cooking”, and the dishes are prepared from high quality Polish and Spanish products. Menu features starters (among others pork tongue slices in crunchy sumac, dried duck breast), salads (with shrimps), soups (cream of pickled asparagus), fish and meat main courses (fillet of meager in white wine, stewed beef cheeks). The special place n the menu is dedicated to dishes and steaks from the Mibrasa charcoal oven used to bake on fire (steaks of Polish and Galician beef, as well as wagyu kobe). The restaurant also features Nespresso coffee space with the possibility to organize workshops, trainings or tastings.
