Mikkeller Bar Warszawa opened on Saturday afternoon at the back of Chmielna, near Mąka and Woda. The Danish Mikkeller Bar has dozens of locations around the world, the Polish opening gathered crowds. Mikkeller Bar presents itself as a place for the best craft beer and food. The Warsaw location has two levels, it serves tap and bottled beer on the ground floor and first floor, food is served on the first floor exclusively. The beer menu includes a few dozen bottled beers and 20 tap beers served in volumes of 0,4l and 0,2l. The offer is meant to change frequently, on the opening day they served, among others, Mikkeller Spontanpassionfruit (Passionfurit Sour Ale), Mikkeller Bar Geek Flat White (Imperial Coffee Milk Oatmeal Stout), WarPigs Warsaw IPA (West Coast IPA). The food menu features dishes made from scratch – homemade bread, homemade sauces, pickles, smoked meats, etc. The opening day menu included among others: Reuben sandwich, pig ears, a plate of meats to choose from.
