Although already announced two years ago, Supperlardo is a new recently opened place of the owners of Mąka i Woda. It was opened at the beginning of the week and is located next to Mąka and Woda, at Chmielna St. The chef here is Paweł Fabiś. Supperlardo’s subtitle is “cured Warsaw”. The restaurant specializes in cured meat products of its own and in the bread of their own baking. The first menu includes sandwiches (including ciabatta with pork pastrami, pork shoulder, red cabbage and mustard; potato roll with pork sausage, Bolognese sauce, parmesan and hazelnuts), as well as dishes (including a chicken quarter from fire with romaine lettuce, rye bucatini with lamb ragout). There are also meats from Puławska and Mangalica pigs made and seasoned on the spot (pork chop, pork neck, speck…) and baked on the spot sourdough breads of organic flour (spelled, rye, wholemeal, ciabatta). Supperlardo is open from Monday to Friday from 11-16 only.
