U Rysia, restaurant specializing in fish and seafood located at the corner of Rysia and Marszałkowska street organizes Festival of smoked and fried fish every Saturday. During the festival, all smoked and fried fish can be bought with a 30% discount.
Lovers of fried fish can be tempted by fresh fish, delivered regularly from Masurian lakes, but there is also a choice of sea fish. The menu features among others catfish, trout, perch, whitefish, pike perch, halibut or kergulen. Every fish can be accompanied by different extras such as mashed potatoes, rice, bulgur, French fries, salads and sauces.
U Rysia offers a large selection of smoked fish that we can eat on site or take away. The fish are smoked in their own smokehouse with ash, beech, alder or cherry smoke. The restaurant’s offer includes various fish such as catfish, whitefish, sturgeon, trout, burbot, halibut. The specialty of the restaurant is smoked sea trout, and in the summer the queen of Masuria – vendace.
In addition to fried and smoked fish, the restaurant menu includes steamed fish, baked without fat, seafood, and we can also buy fish marinated in vinegar in a jar or in a jelly. We can also come here for breakfast daily from 8:00 to 12:00. For breakfast we will order among others scrambled eggs with smoked trout or a sandwich with marinated whitefish or crayfish
