Karakter is a new place which belongs to the owners of famous Zazie Bistro. It was opened in early August in Krakow. The chef here is Daniel Myśliwiec (he is also chef at Zazie Bistro), Kuba Janicki was responsible for the selection of wines. Karakter has a much braver menu than Zazie. You’ll have, among others, horsemeat, pork tripe Italian style and port hoof. The menu is mostly focused on meat, with a large representation of the offal. Examples of items: Thymus on butter with ravioli, crushed green peas and mint; veal tongue with mashed cauliflower, chard, pear and Roquefort cheese; Tripp alla parmigiana with pine nuts, spicy crust and small onion oil.
