Very good news for all those who were missing the culinary talent of Wit Szychowski (formerly of Soul Kitchen Bistro at Nowogrodzka). Today a brand new restaurant Florentin opened, where Wit is a chef. He is accompanied by Abdelmalek Dary. Florentin offers a cuisine of modern Israel, and the dishes are meant to be a compilation of the tradition of Israelis with Moroccan, Yemeni, Ethiopian and Persian origin. The wine list includes over 100 labels. The menu features, among others, hummus with a Jerusalem mix; veal with harissa, grilled peppers and puree of pears; cauliflower steak with Zatar and spicy sun-dried tomatoes, and for dessert, Jerusalem mousse with a grenade and sesame seeds.
