Warsaw semifinals of S. Pellegrino Young Chef

Zbigniew Glinka 20 October 2017

On October 18th ten young chefs from Central Europe competed in the regional semi-finals of S. Pellegrino Young Chef competition. Their task was to prepare within five hours 10 pieces of the signature dish, then being the subject to a rigorous judging by the jury. Judges took into account the five golden rules of the competition: ingredients, skill, genius, beauty and message. All of them must be represented in the signature dish. There were four Poles – Miłosz Grabowski (Pod Różą, Cracow), Jan Kiliański (Główna Osobowa, Gdynia), Marcin Popielarz (Biały Królik, Gdynia) and Łukasz Wącirz (Avocado, Poznań).

MARCIN POPIELARZ from Gdynia’s Biały Królik (White Rabbit) restaurant won the Warsaw semifinals and will take part in the finals of the competition in Milan next May. We congratulate him and keep our fingers crossed for the Grand Finale in 2018!
