Recently PizzaPortal.pl published an interesting report – summary of Polish customs and trends when ordering food online in the past year. It was based on an assessment of orders placed in the restaurants (2,500 in 400 cities) available at the portal. The conclusions is that although most Poles (55%) order the Italian food (mostly pizza), and Warsawers are the most numerous group of users, in ordering pizza Warsaw ranks only third place. The favorite cuisine of Warsaw is ‘home cooking’. In Warsaw, the most ordered dishes are potatoes, tomato soup, żurek and pork chops.
