The two-day Dumplings of the World Festival (Festiwal Pierogów Świata) will be organized next weekend on the Bulwar Flotylli Wiślanej, between the Cud nad Wisłą and Pomost 511 clubs. Pierogi is Polish national dish, but this weekend similar dishes native to many other countries will be served on the Vistula river bank. The festival, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, gives us the opportunity to try pierogi delicacies from different parts of the world. Among others, you will be able to eat Polish dumplings, Japanese gyoza, Tibetan momo, Mexican and Spanish empanadas, Russian pelmieni, Georgian khinkali, Indian samosa, Uzbek manty and Chinese bao and dim sum. You may check the taste of the Warsaw potato dumplings from Różyc bazaar and Italian calzone. Smaki Mamuśki will prepare a wide selection of different flavours of vegan, sweet (eg chocolate dumplings with raspberry and mint) , meat and cheese dumplings.
