In the place of the recently closed Georgian restaurant Leo’s Marani, has opened a new place with modern Polish cuisine – Głód Miasta. The restaurant is located in Śródmieście at Marszałkowska 85 Street. Mateusz Czekierda is responsible for creating the menu, Michał Matuszewski is the chef. Here you will find dishes such as pork tongues with horseradish (18 PLN), beef tartare (32 PLN), herring from Bornholm (21 PLN), dumplings with mushrooms and roasted buckwheat (21 PLN), as well as pork loin with bone and roasted cabbage (38 PLN), cepelinai with pork and smoked bacon (32 PLN), or dumplings with goat cheese and beetroot (28 PLN). Dessert are a mermaid dessert inspired by the Warsaw Mermaid (20 PLN) and goat’s cheesecake with rosemary (17 PLN). There is also a lunch offer for 20 PLN during the day. In addition to the menu, Głód Miasta also offers original cocktails, for example based on cherry and horseradish vodka.
