Goose – seasonal speciality in Poland

Marta Glinka 9 November 2012

Campaign promoting goose meat as seasonal speciality in Poland has just started its new edition. One of its goals  is to promote goose meat from Kujawsko-Pomorskie region, but first of all to restore the tradition of the family dinner with a goose in the lead role on the table on the Polish National Day (11 November). Despite its delicious taste and long tradition, goose is still not a very popular species of poultry on Polish tables, and most of the goose meat is exported to Germany … Fortunately, this is slowly changing ….
