Mamma Marietta on Thursdays is dominated by fresh seafood. The most interesting, though very simple dish you can taste there is octopus. Andrea Scarantino, the chef and owner of the place, prepares it in the form of carpaccio of octopus, and as a main dish he serves just half an octopus on the grill. It’s very simple dish, but Warsaw Foodie definitely recommends it in the Must Eat category. First of all, because octopus served in Mamma Marietta has an ideal consistency – it’s not even a bit chewy, it’s crispy outside and soft inside. Half of the whole octopus is a large meal, but if you are a seafood fan, you will manage. The seafood in Mamma Marietta is served starting Thursday. It’s worth calling the place to reserve a table, it is usually full. Highly recommended!
