Skrei or Norwegian winter cod has been just introduced to the menu of twelve restaurants in Warsaw. Skrei has a high reputation in the world and is considered the best Norwegian cod. It has white, very firm meat and is very tasty. It lives only in Norway and can be caught only in season from January to April. This year in February and March you can taste it also in Warsaw restaurants. Below you can find a list of restaurants, which prepared a special, seasonal menu with Skrei. This Norwegian cod can also be purchased in Makro and selected retail stores. Due to the storms in Norway the availabity of skrei in restaurants or shops can be fluctuating. Hopefully you will manage to taste it. This is the list of restaurants serving skrei as their seasonal menu.
