November is traditionally in Poland a month of goose in restaurants, and a goose is a delicacy also of Greek cuisine. Two Greek restaurants – Taverna Patris and iGrek have been joining the Polish tradition of eating goose on Saint Marcin Day with Mediterranean cuisine introducing a special goose menu. In both restaurants, until the end of November, we will eat goose  in various dishes. At Taverna Patris we will order, among others, goose goulash soup (PLN 15), goose breast in tomato and cinnamon sauce with shallots (PLN 59) or a confit breast of goose with red cabbage, nuts and potato-zucchini pie (PLN 59). IGrek offers among others baked vegetables with goose, tomato sauce, zucchini and kefalotiri cheese (PLN 32), soup with vegetables, olives and crumpled goose meat (PLN 18), confit thighs with currant sauce and fresh fig, arugula and fries from sweet potato (PLN 59).
