The Yellow Week Streetfood, an event promoting pairing of champagne and streetfood will take place from 1 to 14 October in Warsaw. This is a project initiated by the champagne brand Veuve Clicquot and Justyna Adamczyk, the ambassador of the Veuve Clicquot brand and the editor-in-chief of Gault & Millau. Champagne Veuve Clicquot can be order in 10 Warsaw restaurants with unusual dishes paired with it: french fries, fish & chips or popcorn. The chefs of each restaurant have prepared special dishes paired with champagne, which will be served with a glass of Veuve Clicquot at a special price of PLN 39 per set. During the Yellow Week you will be able to try, among others French fries with truffle mayonnaise at The Cool Cat TR, burgundy snails in Charlotte, casserole with mushrooms and Gruyere cheese in Talerzyki or brioche with liver in cider, apple and blackberry in the LAS restaurant.
