The Onigiri Summit dedicated to traditional Japan dish from rice – onigiri will take place in Saska Kępa on Sunday, October 20. The event is part of the Bunkasai Autumn Festival of Japanese Arts. During the meeting we will be able to find out what onigiri is – Magdalena Tomaszewska-Bolałek will share her knowledge on this topic, then there will be a panel with Japan specialists regarding onigiri. The panel will include among others Yasuhiro Tsuda (head chef of the Japanese Embassy), Kazuya Kuramchi (head chef of the Dutch Embassy, president of Japan Food Consulting), Chie Piskorska (initiator of Bunkasai, lecturer in Japanese aesthetics). There will also be a tasting of onigiri prepared by Japanese restaurants: Mugi, Nippo-kan, Pani Onigiri, and Sato Gotuje.
