Foodie Week: Czojhona, Ordynacka 13, 5 best for wine

NEW OPENINGS: Bordo, the name already known from Chmielna Street, opened new venue recently at the back of Nowy Swiat Street. Nearby appeared a new restaurant –  Ordynacka 13. Czojhona is a new place opened recently in Wola district.It serves unique in Warsaw Uzbek cuisine.  There is a new place on Freta Street, Galeria Zadra Cafe  which is a combination of gallery and cafe. Going from there in the direction of Old Town you will come across Point of Wine, new winery with choice of not only wine but also snacks. 

COMING SOON: On Tuesday, September 4th, new restaurant by Daniel Pawelek i (owner of Butchery and Wine) is going to open called Brasserie Warszawska. Autumn will be also the time for new opening in Praga district. New place is called Makroklimat Bistro & Cafe  and is a bistro with seasonal cuisine.

EVERGREEN: Last week we covered two well known and popular places in Warsaw. Mielżyński is one of the first wine bars in the city, existing since 2004, still attracting many people every night. Butchery & Wine was chosen The Best Restaurant by Gazeta and awarded Bib Gourmand by Michelin.

EVENTS: Last weekend of school holidays was full of culinary and tasting events in Warsaw. There was a Weekend of Artoholic in L’Arc restaurant dedicated to food and art. Aphrodisiacs flavors event  took place in Saska Kepa and included sensual dishes cooking classes. Bubbles, bubblessparkling wine tasting was organised on Friday in Syreni Spiew club.

Fro, during her vacation, has checked Magda Gessler’s Kuchenne Rewolucje at Syrena in Ustka, and back to Warsaw she went to Słony by Magda Gessler. She also visited a new wine bar in Powiśle – Syrena and was delighted by Latte Art at sandwich bar Bułkę przez Bibułkę.
