On 3rd Oct throughout the country various events related to the nationwide women strike are organised. Those events are also referred as the Black Protest or Black Monday. The protesting women intend to demonstrate against anti-abortion law tightening. Below we publish a list of Warsaw cafes and restaurants, which declared that they will enable the female crew to participate in the protest. They support this by changing working schedules, making working hours shorter or even by closing the premises for the whole day. The list will be updated as the situation evolves.

4 PoKOJE – closed because of black protest
Akademia Smaków Ryszarda Majewskiego – closed because of black protest
Al Capone – closed because of black protest
ArtBistro Stalowa 52 – all women working in the restaurant have a day off
Bałkański Kocioł – closed because of black protest
Bar Studio – men are working, kitchen is closed
Bark and Bean – men are working, women have a day-off
Bez Ości – open between 8 am and 4 pmb – two Agatas will be substituted by one Łukasz
Bułkę przez bibułkę – Mokotow location will be closed. Zgoda street location will be open – only men will work there.
Cafe Kulturalna – all women co-operating with or working in Kulturalna can take a day off. All women dressed black may order black tea for free.
Cafe tortownia.pl – only men are working, women have a day-off, all strikers dressed black may order coffees for special price of 5 PLN
Charlotte – both locations – on plac Zbawiciela and plac Grzybowski – are closed because of black protest
Czytelnia – closed because of black protest
Dawne Smaki – hot beverages will be given to the black protest participants at the entrance to restaurant
Delikatesy Esencja – only men are working, women have a day-off
Dyspensa – only men are working
DZiK – Dom Zabawy i Kultury – only men are working, 50% discount on all menu items if you mention „Strajk kobiet” while ordering
Ekspres Powiśle – open only until 1 pm
Gruba Ryba – only men are working
Hałas – closed because of black protest
Kids & Friends – closed because of black protest
Koty za płoty – closed because of black protest
Krowarzywa – Marszałkowska street location will be closed. Hoża street location will be open between 12 pm and 8 pm – only men are working there
Kubek w kubek – open until 3 pm
Labour Cafe – only men are working – black coffee for free while ordering a meal
Lenabar – closed because of black protest
Lokal Vegan Bistro – closed because of black protest, men’s crew will prepare food during demonstration on Plac Zamkowy
Lukullus – pastry shops in Saska Kępa, and on Mokotowska, Chmielna and Lisowska streets will be open from 1 pm. Patry shops in shopping malls are open on regular basis.
M49 – only men are working, women have a day-off
Cafe Me+Me – closed because of black protest
Miau Cafe – women will go on strike and cats are not working… that’s why they open only at 5 pm. Black protest supporters are invited for cheap regenerating coffee in the late afternoon
Miejsce Chwila – open from 3 pm, only men are working, women have day off
Mili Moi – closed because of black protest
MJUD – open from 3 pm
Na Lato – only men are working, women have a day-off
Nabo – only men are working, women have a day-off
Nancy Lee – only men are working, women have a day-off
Niezłe Ziółko – only men are working, women have a day-off
Organitheka – only men are working, women have a day-off
Palmier – only men are working, women have a day-off
Państwo Miasto – on Monday between 9 am and 3 pm they invite to conference room all women that would like to create banners and transparents for morning and afternoon demonstrations
Pawilon Kulturalny – the crew (almost only women) is protesting so it will be closed
Plan B – only men are working. After the demonstration after 6 pm they invite all women to the club for free coffee, tea, cola, juices and lemonades
Posiaduffka – open until 3 pm
Prochownia Żoliborz – women have day off, between 10 am and 7 pm men crew will work there. Protesters dressed black may order coffee, tea or glass of wine for 5 PLN.
Przystawki – only men are working, women have a day-off
Punta Prima – only men are working, women have a day-off, all clients supporting black protest will be served with glass of Prosecco
Relaks – only men are working, women have a day-off
Resort – only men are working, women have a day-off

WakeCup Cafe – Franciszkańska street location – open 7 am – 4 pm – women have day off. Zjednoczenia street location – big part of the crew took day off but the opening hour are as usual – 7 am – 9 pm.

Vege Bistro – only men are working, women have a day-off, free soup offered if you mention Strike while ordering
