Foodie Week: Maly Wojtek / Czebureki / Delikatesy Esencja

LATEST OPENINGS: Last week on Warsaw Foodie we announced 4 new openings. Mały Wojtek Bistro, new bar has been opened on Chmielna Street offering mainly  drinks and snacks. In Warsaw we can try  also Czebureki, stuffed panckakes of tatar origin, which we can purchase at two venues at Mokotow district. A new  cafe dedicated to chocolate appeared on Chmielna. This is the first cafe and shop of  Karmello, polish chain which has been active till now mainly in Southern Poland. We also didn’t forget about recently opened wine bar at Powisle, Syrena Sklep & Bar, which has been checked and positively reviewed by Restaurantica.pl

COMING SOON: On Chmielna Street third venue of israeli coffee bar chain Aroma Espresso Bar will be opened. There are already two venues   on Krucza and Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street quite popular especially within breakfast offer. 

CLOSING: End July was closed  cafe for kids and parents –  Dziecinada, which operated in Miasteczko Wilanow.

EVERGREEN: We added new category to Warsaw Foodie last week – evergreen which are places that have been around for some time  and keep good quality. Last week we covered three places under this category: Delikatesy Esencja, which surprises us every month  with new menu based on seasonal ingredients, Jung & Lecker which is a wine bar specialising in german wines and frequently changing menu. We also wrote  about bookstore combined with cafe specialising in reportage books – Wrzenie Świata 

SEASONAL MENU: New seasonal menu has been recently introduced by Opasły Tom Piw

EVENTS: Syrena Shop & Bar organised tasting of wines from Veneto region – Winna Syrena,

MUST EAT: Last week Warsaw Foodie recommended two dishes, which you shouldn’t miss. Based on our experience must try in Warsaw is Octopus at Mamma Marietta and Beef Steak at Winkolekcja.  Is it really worth it? Check it out…

BLOGS TALK ABOUT: Froblog  visited the temple of chees in Konstancin – The House of Cheese Stara Papiernia, attended night buffet in WarsAndSawa , and took a journey through flavours of Portugal in Grill. & Co, Restaurantica.pl reviewed another breakfast buffet, this time in Mito, cafe, bookstore and gallery. She described her eating experience in new scandinavian restaurant Nabo and fell in love with Petit Appetit, new boulangerie. Minta Eats  visited and reviewed Secret Life CafeNakarmiona Starecka wrote about Shabu Shabu, new asian restaurant on Mokotowska. On Latające talerze  blog there is also a new review of Chez Belier, recently opened restaurant at Zoliborz district.
