Foodie Week: Fenomenalna, Kalinowe Serce, 5 best for steaks

NEW OPENINGS: Trend for pancakes is coming back.  Fenomenalna Crepes & Cafe is a new pancake venue opened recently in the University Library Building. We also have a boom of places serving dishes from the Iberian Peninsula. At the site of the former  Tapas Bar Cuatro Caminos  on Grzybowska Street, opened a new Spanish tapas bar – Sol y Sombra. A new restaurant with Spanish food – Espana was set up in the former Stock Exchange building. Balkan restaurant, Papalina, which previously operated under the name Cevap was reopened recently in Ursynów district. There is a a trend now for creating local cafes outside the city center. Last week famous Polish actor, Maciej Zakościelny opened a new cafe – Kalinowe Serce in Żoliborz district. Ente Cafe is a new cafe, established recently in Wola. Scandinavian restaurant and cafe Nabo operating since the beginning of August in Sadyba  is gaining more and more popularity and numerous reviews on blogs and in the media.

Warsaw Foodie Week

SEASONAL MENU: Punta Prima, restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine in Mokotów has just introduced a seasonal menu. Seasonal dishes will play around autumn delicacies – forest mushrooms, plums and pumpkins.

EVENT: On Saturday, in the Smart Studio on Hoża took place an event dedicated to the Traditional Polish Cuisine, where you could listen about the history of Polish cuisine and taste delicacies prepared based on recipes dating back centuries.

ON BLOGS: Froblog started a week in an exotic way, eating ciak ciak in Uzbek restaurant Czojhona in Wola district. Then he overtook her craving for pancakes. Just started with Po Prostu Cafe, where she got it burnt and filled with strawberry compote. Continuing the search for the perfect pancake she discovered a place filled with colorful energy, and was swinging in a hammock in Fenomenalna Crepes & Cafe. Restaurantica.pl  felt the artistic soul in a new Art Cafe in Zoliborz, also proved that the child can eat in an exotic restaurant describing Suparom Thai Food  in the category Baby Menu. From the Far East she went to the Middle East while attacking lunch buffet in Tel-Aviv on Poznanska Street. From Israel she was being escorted back to  Poland discovering hot and cold dishes  in Ciepło- Zimno, a bistro with Polish cuisine in Ursynów.

Nakarmiona Starecka almost threw herself off a cliff after a visit to the Chech pubs. Fortunately, she was rescued by Monika from Gotuje bo lubi, so you will still be able to read her passionate stories. She also carried out an exclusive interview with  Gieno Miętkiewicz named also Cheeseman, and the talk was not just about cheese. Where’s The Food made eco shopping in the new store opened in Sam cafe & bakery. He visited the new restaurant owned by Daniel Pawelek, Brasserie Warszawska, ate a parfait of foie gras, duck Barbarie and dessert Eton Mess. Patelnią po głowie started their big test of burgers visiting Charlie Food & Friends, also went to Tamka 43 to taste favorite dishes of Frederic Chopin.
